These terms of sale are applicable to all sales made with the HOTEL VILLA-LAMARTINE, 28 avenue Lamartine, 33120 ARCACHON, (with the exception of group reservations). Consequently, the customer acknowledges having read these terms of sale and undertakes to respect them. These terms of sale are modifiable at any moment, and the applicable terms will be those in force on the date when the reservation will be made .

Article 1 - Rates

The rates shown are in Euros (€) and all taxes included, and include VAT on the day of booking. Any change in the applicable rate, or any modification or introduction of new taxes imposed by the competent authorities, will automatically be reflected on the prices indicated on the invoice date.

Rates are per room or suite for the number of people indicated and according to the selected period and do not include additional services (unless stated otherwise). City / tourist tax is 1.10 € per day and per person (over 18 years), is not included in the quoted rate and has to be paid directly to the hotel. It applies from 01 January to 31 December of each year.

Special requests can not be guaranteed and may incur additional charges and are subject to change without notice. No stay booked before the introduction of a promotional offer or changes in the tariff policy and capacity management (yield), will not be reimbursed, even partial.

Article 2 - Reservations and Means of Payment

Reservations can be made on www.hotelvillalamartine.com, by phone, by e-mail or by mail. The reservation will be effective only if the latter is guaranteed by the customer by communicating a credit card number with validity date and after receipt of a detailed booking confirmation.

Hotel Villa-Lamartine requests before the taking of room a physical or virtual imprint CB being a deposit in case of deterioration by the customer or to guarantee the payment of all services consumed.

Payment of all services will be made directly to the hotel (exceptions made for prepaid reservations at the time of booking). The hotel reserves the right to refuse any reservation in case the credit card number is incorrect or the reservation is incomplete.

In case of pre-payment, payment can be made by check, bank transfer or bank card, and is deducted from the price of the stay.

Reservations of whatever origin will be payable in Euro (€) only. The Villa-Lamartine hotel accepts the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and has a secure reservation system (SSL) that protects and encrypts all sensitive data transmitted to the reservation in order to prevent any disclosure to a third. However, the hotel can not be held responsible for fraud, malfeasance or any wrongdoing during the payment transactions.

Article 3 - Case of Force Majeure

Force majeure is defined as any event outside the parties which is unpredictable and insurmountable and which prevents the client from making the trip, to fulfill all or part of the obligations laid down in the contract. Article 4 - Modification or Cancellation of Stay

Any modification or cancellation of reservation must be the subject of a request in writing or by email to hotel@villalamartine.com. The request will not become effective until the HOTEL VILLA-LAMARTINE has confirmed its acceptance in writing.

In case of modification or cancellation of stay, the following conditions apply (except in cases of force majeure) :

  • For any request made less than 3 days before the arrival date, the amount of the first night will be charged (less than 7 days in "High Season" period).
  • If canceled or modified later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
  • Any stay begun is entirely due.

For reservations made via the website of our partners, the cancellation must be made via this website. The cancellation conditions that apply are then specific to the partner and may therefore be different from those of the HOTEL VILLA-LAMARTINE. In case of an extended stay, the client must inform the reception of the hotel at 10:00 am at the latest on the day of the planned departure, in order to know the availabilities.

Article 5 - Hotel Services

Check-in: the rooms are available at any time after 3 pm Check-out: it is necessary to leave the rooms not later than midday. A surcharge may be charged for non-compliance with the maximum departure time. In case of arrival after 8 pm, the reception must be notified.

Article 6 - Relocation
